June 15 will mark 14 years since immigrant youth won DACA protections. Despite the hundreds of thousands of people who have been able to build their lives and careers in the U.S. thanks to this program, we're currently witnessing the most dangerous moment in DACA's history.
The threats to DACA are stacking up — one by one. The Department of Homeland Security's own records reveal that federal agents have detained over 340 DACA recipients and deported at least 90 since the start of 2025. Thousands more have been losing their jobs, incomes, and protections from detention and deportation due to months-long delays in getting their renewals processed at USCIS. The federal government is also making it easier to deport DACA recipients. This is death by a thousand cuts, and we cannot stay silent as DACA is dismantled piece by piece.
DACA recipients contribute $648 billion to our economy. They're doctors, nurses, teachers, and essential workers. Every single one of us has benefited from DACA recipients being a part of our communities.
At a time when working families all across the country are struggling to get by, Congress has the power to ensure our families, communities, and workforces remain intact. The Dream Act would provide long-overdue stability to all our communities and a pathway to citizenship for immigrant youth.
Ahead of the DACA anniversary on June 15th, will you take action today to call on your members of Congress to support the Dream Act? Add your name now!
