As the midterms approach and the GOP's chances of holding the House and even the Senate wither with each new Trump scandal, Republicans are now plotting to install another extremist right-wing moron on the Supreme Court should current extremist right-wing moron Samuel Alito chooses to retire in the next few months, as he is reportedly considering doing.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune told The Washington Examiner that he was forming plans to replace Alito. “That’s a contingency, I think, around here you always have to be prepared for. And if that were to happen, yes, we would be prepared to confirm,” Thune said.
Chuck Grassley, the Senate Judiciary chairman, told reporter David Sivak that “he'll recommend to Trump that Mike Lee or Ted Cruz replace Samuel Alito, should he retire.”
Do not let Donald Trump appoint another Supreme Court Justice!
This would be a complete and utter disaster for our country. Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are two of the most deplorable, disingenuous men to ever darken the United States Senate. They’re both deranged right-wing extremists who would be a rubber-stamp for Trump and any other future Republican president, should they somehow find a seat on the nation's highest court.
Both men are supremely unqualified to sit on the Supreme Court — as would anybody Trump would appoint. We cannot allow this president to stack the court with yet another right-wing extremist.
Do not let Donald Trump appoint another Supreme Court Justice!
